Taste Radio
"Hello and welcome to the number one podcast for anyone building a business in food or beverage!" I designed, built, and lit the dedicated multi-camera podcast studio seen in this footage, tailored for high-quality in-person and remote recording. Each week, I ran 1–3 live sessions, managing both the video production and all aspects of audio engineering. These sessions often included a call-in Zoom component to connect remote guests. Following each recording, I handled the full post-production process, editing long-form episodes into polished, broadcast-ready content.
This is an example of the intro/banter that I filmed and edited.
And this is an example of an in-person interview with Megan Klein of Little Saints, conducted in the Taste Radio studio. I was responsible for both the production and post-production.
Nombase
This footage is from the Nombase Podcast (formerly Community Call), which delivers insights on the consumer packaged goods industry. I designed and built the studio, including details like the custom scrap wood shelf, with a focus on acoustics and flexibility. I lit the space with a combination of soft, ceiling mounted lights and small, colored LEDs. The space supports multi-camera recording, though that feature was not used often for this show. I managed both the video production and audio engineering for each session, often integrating a call-in feature for remote guests. BevNET editors handled the episode editing.
Here is a sample episode of the podcast.
CPG Week
CPG Week Podcast is a weekly, news-focused show covering the food and beverage industry. Episodes typically feature 2–3 members of the BevNET and NOSH editorial teams, with at least one participant joining remotely. I designed and built the studio to enable seamless remote participation directly from the office. I was responsible for all video production, lighting, and audio engineering, while editing was usually managed by the company.
Currently, CPG Week is mainly an audio podcast, with video content primarily created for social media. Seen here is a short sample clip to showcase both the studio setup and the show's format.
Elevator Talk
Elevator Talk, now a recurring segment of the Taste Radio podcast, began as a standalone live show spotlighting new and emerging CPG brands. It gave founders a platform to introduce their products to the industry and receive direct feedback from experts. The show utilizes the Taste Radio studio, but is entirely remote except for the host, Ray Latif.
